Pre-Disaster Recommendations

A resilient E-Bus Ecosystem is founded on robust design and meticulous planning at the pre-procurement and pre-construction stages. This section outlines key recommendations and prevailing standards that ensures safe and efficient development of e-bus ecosystem including fleet, depot, charging infrastructure and operating environment. All recommendations are aligned with relevant Indian regulatory frameworks/ standards, guidelines including CMVR, AIS, UBS, BIS, norms issued by fire safety and state disaster management agencies, original equipment manufacturers best practices and as well as international best practices and standards. The bus design is mandatorily required to be type approved by government authorised testing agencies such as ARAI, ICAT, NATRaX or CIRT etc to ensure regulatory and safety compliances.

Collectively, these measures provide a step-by-step, actionable framework as illustrated, to safeguard assets, ensure operational reliability and long-term resilience of e-bus operations across diverse urban contents.
